A Symphony of Light & Tradition
Bringing the Spirit of India to Life through Stained Glass
In the heart of the luxurious Ayodya Resort lies a culinary gem, Ganesha ek Sanskriti. Known for its authentic traditional Indian cuisine, the venue required an architectural centerpiece that would reflect the rich heritage and spiritual depth of Indian culture.
We at Eraglass Bali were honored to be commissioned for this prestigious project in March 2024. Our task was to create a stained glass dome that would not only illuminate the space but also serve as a suspended work of art, embodying the vibrancy of Indian artistic traditions.
Symbolism & Design
The design philosophy for this project was deeply rooted in Indian traditional artistry. Unlike modern abstract geometric patterns, this dome required a soulful approach, integrating motifs that resonate with cultural history.
We utilized a palette rich in warm tones—deep crimsons representing energy and passion, paired with brilliant golds symbolizing prosperity and light. The shapes interlock to form a Mandala-like structure, guiding the viewer's eye toward the center, creating a sense of unity and spiritual wholeness above the dining experience.

A Feat of Craftsmanship
Creating a dome of this magnitude—approximately 3 meters in diameter—is a delicate balance of engineering and art.
The process spanned 1.5 months of dedicated work. It began with precise structural calculations to ensure safety and stability within the resort's architecture. Following the design phase, our artisans hand-cut hundreds of individual glass pieces, leaded them with precision, and soldered them to ensure durability.
The result is a breathtaking canopy of light that transforms the atmosphere of Ganesha ek Sanskriti, casting colorful shadows that dance across the tables as the sun moves throughout the day.
