Six Art Nouveau Stained Glass Panels for a Lounge in Kerobokan

In September 2025 we installed six tall stained glass panels in a moody, dark-toned lounge in Kerobokan, Bali. With Chesterfield sofas, crystal chandeliers and black marble all around, the room needed windows with real presence. Now the daylight comes through in deep cobalt blue with flashes of orange, and the colours reflect across the glass tables and polished floor.

The Design

The six panels are arranged in three matching pairs, all in a flowing Art Nouveau style that suits the room's vintage, old-world interior.

  • Iris pairs: Four of the panels show a tall, stylised iris in cobalt blue, with orange petals and an orange ribbon bow crowning each arch.
  • Lily pair: The centre pair has a white lily with an orange heart, small blue diamonds above, and curling scrollwork below.
  • The background: Light blue textured glass fills the space around each motif. It softens the daylight while keeping the room private.

Matching the pairs gives the wall rhythm and symmetry. Seen from across the room, the six panels read as one continuous piece.

Built the Traditional Way: Lead Came

Like all our work, these panels use the classic lead came method. Every piece of glass is hand-cut, fitted into H-shaped lead channels, soldered at each joint and then cemented. The strong lead lines outline every curve of the irises and scrolls. That gives the Art Nouveau design the bold, graphic look it's known for, and the panels will last for generations.

Light That Changes the Room

In a dark interior, stained glass becomes the main light source, not just decoration. During the day these windows cast blue and orange light across the bar, sofas and marble floor. The mood of the lounge shifts from morning to evening.
