WHO
Era Glass Bali is a third-generation Indonesian stained-glass studio founded and still lead by Vallen and his family. From our 7 master cutters, painters and metal-smiths to our youngest apprentice, every piece that leaves our kiln carries three decades of Indonesian soul and European-grade precision.
WHAT
We designs with computers graphics, hand-cut, paint, fire and crate museum-quality stained-glass panels, domes, skylights and wall murals. From single transom windows to 40-meter facades, our work ships safely worldwide to Europe, the United States and beyond. Our portfolio includes Starbucks Reserve Dewata (Bali), Merlin’s Magic Motiongate (Ubud), a cliff-edge resort chapel in Uluwatu, Rip Curl flagship stores, and the stained-glass ceilings of multiple five-star hotels and nightclubs.
WHEN
The first furnace was lit in Jakarta in 1990. In 2005 we expanded to Bali to meet demand for tropical-modern hospitality projects. For 34 consecutive years we have cut, painted and soldered every single day—over 2 400 completed installations and counting.
WHERE
Design & production: two climate-controlled studios—Jakarta for large architectural runs and Bali for custom art pieces—both open to client visits by appointment.
